Now that’s big yarn!

Via the Style Files blog, designer Christien Meinertma’s giant knitting for the home includes a rug that took the wool of 18 sheep to complete.

According to the designer’s web site, she worked with wool producers in Kyrgyzstan who make an unusual felted yarn.
