My baby, Jay, is five months old today. Since he grew out of his bassinette he’s been sleeping in a baby hammock, called an Amby. It’s on a spring so it sways and bounces gently while he sleeps and he loves it. But regular baby blankets are too big to fit in it. I made a simple mini blanket which you can see in use here. The size will also be great for the car seat. I’ll share the pattern as soon as I finish writing it.

oh my, what a precious boy! I could yum on those beautiful rosy cheeks for days LOL

how do you ever get anything done…I’d just want to sit there smooching him all day. I did that with my daughter. Just sat and smooched.

She’s nine now, and she objects…seriously, she’s still a cuddle bunny all these years later.

    Sweet blankie! 🙂

He is just adorable!! Oh my! And what a cute blanket too! I miss having a baby around. I wanted a dozen or so, but only got 2. They are now almost 12 and 7.

    Hugs!!
